Hoagland Law is proud to have partnered with so
many clients on fantastic projects- from luxury
homebuilders to supportive housing; from job
training facilities to retail stores whose proceeds
support employment programs; from resorts that
provide opportunities for families to create memories
to creating and guiding start-up family businesses.
We are proud of our clients and their
accomplishments. The following are just a few of
our current projects. Check back often for new
projects and progress updates!

The YWCA of St. Paul is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and
promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The YWCA helps people create
change in their lives, by helping homeless families to make a new start, empowering
young people to build bright futures, putting better health within reach, and teaching
skills to support self-sufficiency.
Hoagland Law assisted the YWCA of St. Paul in its acquisition of 736 Selby Avenue, and
in demolition of the building in Spring 2011. We will continue working with the YWCA
as they plan development of this site into a first-class job training facility. Through
teaching, training and support activities, the YWCA will use this site to build skills to
support achievement and self-sufficiency.
Goodwill Industries, Inc. operates over twenty retail stores in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area,
including two Second Debut boutiques. Revenues from all Goodwill stores support
education, workforce development and employment services for people with disabilities
and other barriers to employment. Goodwill provided services to more than 12,000
Minnesotans in 2010!
Hoagland Law assists Goodwill with leasing and development matters for its retail stores
and other program space, as well as with acquisition and development of real estate for
mission-driven uses.
